Windows 10: Why Microsoft is not sending me a verification code

It says we sent u but they dont So i have had this laptop for 4 years and i fixed it bcz it was broken but the password dosent work . And i thought i knew the password exactly but when i type it it dosent work and it says you are not connected to the Internet Although i tried wifi and it connects and i tried ethernet and it connects. but it still says the same problem. That i am not connected to the internet I would be super grateful for any help thank you all And i know the verification email to the Microsoft account but i dont know if its the main email or its just for confirmation Thanks a

Microsoft won't send me verification code emails

Hi TG. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

Sometimes the code won't be sent until your Account is verified in Settings > Accounts > Your Info.

If that's not it then here are the steps Microsoft recommends for troubleshooting verification Code arrival:

If nothing else works then I'd Contact Microsoft Support at Contact Us - Microsoft Support. Explain the problem to the Virtual Assistant and keep asking for an agent, to get chat or a call back on week days.

Report back results for each step so I know what else to suggest.

I understand you're not receiving a verification code for your Microsoft account. If your security info's are up to date, you may be experiencing delays receiving the code which I have also experienced before.
