Windows 10: Why MSI installer quarries registry for all installed certificates?

I had a problem with my msi installer on a client. Kaspersky has blocked it, because MSI was accessing protected registry paths inComputer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\These Registry paths are considered to be protected from being accessed, so that Kaspersky blocks any app, that accesses them by default. I rechecked installation process in Process Monitor and msiexec really quarries these values for every certificate in system in HKLM and HKCU:So, I have several questions:Why does msi accesses these regis

Install of SDK Certificates on ATT Tilt Blocked

I couldn't find the script i had created but if you have a registry editor for the tilt you can follow the following steps if not the I suggest resco registry editor which can be found at handango.com. Its not a free program but you can download the 30-day
trial and since all you need to do is modify a registry entry and unless you do a hard reset you won't have to do it again.

  find HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies.

• Change the following registry items:

• 
  00001001 overwrite the 2 with 1
  

• 
  00001005 overwrite the 16 with 40
  
• 
  00001017 overwrite the 128 with 144
  

• 
  Now, it is possible to download the certificate from the server and install
  

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?
