Windows 10: Why must you give me suggestions of problems when I havent any? Really, guys, this is...

My computer works for me. Got my first when my father and I built it in 1980. Made $ a page in college because we could reprint the corrections. Professors at my university downgraded for bad typing. So I went 128 words per minute and helped others with grades. Knew binary code.

My point is, just because the youngsters on salary want to tell me I am out of date, and must change something, why? Because they want to show they are producing, perhaps. Why don't you set up training in 3rd World Countries and teach them where to go? I know you want to sell stuff, sell it to other people. I just want to use my tool, bought and paid for, for my pleasure. Anytime I need to update something or learn new icons, you do not pay for my comms bill or my eyeglasses. Nor, my time. Sadly, when you are so proud of your efforts, most of you live in a 1st World Country. You don't even think about it. But you cost other people food money, school fees, or doctor visits. The Gates Foundation I am aware of. Don't you think it would be interesting to discover who the REST of your users are? Seriously, this is not a rant, I stand by it. Do what is necessary, of course, for yourself and your employer. Please discover what the rest of the world looks like. Your XXX out of date. Course it is, we haven't had comms, nor water for 2 weeks! You can't fix comms or water, but maybe anyone who can help train should go on internship in another more difficult country. Because these are your clients too. Changing an icon, or a name from windows 7 to windows 10, let us say, is not the best way to create more customers. That is for upgraders, most of the rest of the world just wants to work with what we have. And save to get there.


I do not work for you. I am your client. So when my electric bill or phone bill are extra because of your tiny updates, then my connection cuts and I must start again, please realize that we do not all have unlimited resources. And the school that saved for wifi but not unlimited, to connect for a month, then has an automatic update. And the children lost their geography video, or english lesson. Keep going, we do thank you. If I have a 20 year old car and you have the 2020 model, there must be a way to use the same mechanic...

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...


That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
