Windows 10: Why my app in my laptop gets automatically selected? So it becomes very difficult to open...

Whenever I refresh my laptop, the left side of app gets automatically selected and then, when we open any other app, it becomes very difficult. The automatically selected app keep on opening even after selecting different app? Sometimes it's start scrolling down automatically?I updated my driver but didn't work.Therefore, it's become very difficult to operate. How can I fix it?

laptop doesnt boot automatically

This is what happened.

1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

Selecting apps to open files while using Open with on Windows 10

Let me confirm that the apps or application that appears in the list of Open with depends on the selection and there usage. Sadly, we don't have any manual option for forcing this change that makes that app appears in the Open with list.



Suggest you to try using the app for multiple time, when you make selection with the Open with to see if it automatically appears for the next time.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
