    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Why my cpu occupied has raised when I open windows task explorer

Windows explorer takes up most of CPU

This can be caused due to temporary files and data that are stored in your machine. To correct this issue with Windows Explorer, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • On your Windows Explorer, open C:Windows/Temp.
    • Delete all the data.
    • Open the Task Manager.
    • Right click on explorer.exe and click Restart.

The temp folder contains files that are only needed temporally. Unfortunately, these files don't always get deleted after their job is done, resulting in wasted drive space.

Let us know if you need further assistance with your Windows 10.
