Windows 10: Why my Icons are resized when i activated my second monitor?

Hi,I have a double monitor setup. I noticed that when I activate the second monitor using the options "Extend these displays" the icons on the firstmain monitor are moved and resized, they are a little smaller. Why is this happening? If it helps when i use only the main monitor the scale is 125%.I already updated all the drivers that i found.Thanks for any help.

How to stop all the main screen icons moving to second monitor (Windows10) ?

This can be a default when opening a game to maximize the functionality of having two monitors. To clarify the issue, we need additional information:

• When you close the game, do the icons go back to the main display or does it stays on the second monitor?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

I found out how to resize desktop icons, see below ,

To change the desktop icons take the steps below:

· Right click on an empty area of the desktop

· Select ‘View’



From here we will have three options:

· Large Icons

· Medium Icons

· Classic Icons



When you select the options listed above the icons will change based on the size selected.

Method 1:

To change the desktop icons take the steps below:

· Right click on an empty area of the desktop

· Select ‘View’

From here we will have three options:

· Large Icons

· Medium Icons

· Classic Icons

Method 2:

To resize the icons on Windows 10 follow the instructions provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows logo key + I key.
• Click on System.
• In Display tab, increase the percentage or bar under change the size of text, apps and other items.
• Click on Apply button.
