    Why my iPv4 address not showing in command prompt?


    My iPv4 addresses aren’t showing in the command prompt. Also when i try to login to my router with 192.168.1.1 default gateway the page doesn’t loads but if i search something else it does load. Also now my iPv4 default gateway is fe80::1%8 but earlier it was 192.168.1.1 Help pls!!

    Autoconfiguration ipv4 address

    I static an windows 10 pro pc IP address at my job and when I check command prompt, I still get Autoconfiguration ipv4 address 169.254.254.154 (preferred) showing instead of the IP address I assigned manually. is there a way to stop the Autoconfiguration
    ipv4 address?

    command prompt will not open in safe mode with command prompt

    Would I just follow the same steps within safe mode after hooking up to the other system?

    command prompt will not open in safe mode with command prompt

    I am repairing a laptop for a friend and I need to access windows in safe mode and the owner has forgotten the password to the main user. I tried logging on with the administrator profile in safe mode but it is not showing up so I was going to use command prompt in safe mode with command prompt but command prompt will not open when I boot that option. Does anyone have any hints for me to figure this out?
