    Why my laptop automatically opens Microsoft edge and starts playing some random YouTube...


    Microsoft Edge is running automatically and plays random YouTube videos, ads. And i notice that it only happen when I start plugging in my charger on my laptop

    Microsoft Edge Opens YouTube Mobile; doesn't play videos

    Every time that I click on a YouTube link it brings me to the mobile site. When I click on watch video, it opens a dialogue box that asks what app to use. If I open the same link in Google Chrome, it goes right to the YouTube site and the video plays without
    a problem. I like a lot of the features of Microsoft Edge, but I use YouTube a lot in my work as a teacher and I am about ready to delete Edge and go back to relying on Chrome.

    I have read some earlier posts and suggestions. None of them seem to work. If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks for any help you can give me.

    Opening Microsoft Edge brings up random music to start playing

    I currently own the Surface Pro 4, and everything's working fine. Earlier today I was listening to Pandora, and then I turned my device off. When I turned it on an hour or so back, it started playing music after I clicked on Microsoft
    Edge . At first I didn't mind because I liked the music, but now the music is really random. Basically whenever I open the Task Manager and press 'end task" to Microsoft Edge it turns off. It turns back on whenever I open Microsoft Edge again. I really want
    to be able to use the internet without listening to random music.

    Cannot open youtube by IE and Edge

    Hi,

    Let's isolate the cause of the issue. Are you using an Insider Preview build on your PC? If you are using an Insider Preview build and if you are in Fast Ring, we suggest that you update your computer to the new build 15031 and check if the issue persists.

    We also recommend that you disable the VPN and Proxifier on your computer and check if you can access YouTube.

    If the issue persists, let's use a new InPrivate window to access Youtube. To open a new InPrivate window in Edge, follow the steps below:

    • Open Edge.
    • Click on the three dots icon on the upper-right part of the screen.
    • Click New InPrivate window.

    Keep us updated with the results.
