Hello sir recently I upgraded my laptop with new ssd 256 gb and after installation of the ssd and new windows my laptop is working fine now after 3-4 days it is running very slow taskbar is not loading and nothing is opening as fast it should be open then I try many methods nothing worked and used every sfc, dism command , chkdsk command nothing worked and yesterday I got an bcod error that I resolve some how and my pc got open but again this slowness issue and suddenly when I woke up in the morning a green line is there so tell me what to do in this matter my serial number of laptop is CND045

Install new M2 SSD in laptop

Hello, decided to upgrade my laptops SSD. I physically installed a new M.2 SSD on my laptop on the only slot there is or where the old one was. I have a windows installation media in a USB and when I boot up the laptop, the windows install screen comes up but when I get to the screen where you select the drive, the new SSD is not listed. Anyone have any ideas what to do to get the new SSD to appear?

Yes, SATA Mode must be set to AHCI on a system with an SSD, what is the Make and exact Model No. of your laptop - that will be printed on a sticker on the bottom underneath casing . . .

What exactly happens when you try to install Windows onto the SSD, can you even see the SSD in the list of drives at the start of the installation process?

Yes it appears but i can't install because it is doesn't let convert the ssd to gpt.
