Windows 10: Why my PC is taking screenshots when I use WINDOWS key on keyboard?

Why my PC is taking screenshots when I use WINDOWS key? I am using Windows 10 OS.Followed below steps 1. I tried to reboot and check, no use. 2. Shutdown & turned on the PC and checked, still facing same issue.Kindly assist.

If you want to take a screen shot and save it as picture, I suggest you to check with the below steps.

To take a screen shot and save it as a picture

• 
  Click the window you want to capture. Press Alt+Print Screen by holding down the Alt key and then pressing the Print Screen key. The Print Screen key is near the upper-right corner of your keyboard. (Depending
  on the type of keyboard you have, the exact key names on your keyboard may vary slightly.)
  
  Note: You can take a screen shot of your entire desktop rather than just a single window by pressing the Print Screen key without holding down the Alt key.

  Click Start, click Accessories, and then click Paint.
  
• 
  In the Paint window, click Edit, and then click Paste.
  
• 
  When the image appears in the Paint window, click File, and then click Save As.
  
• 
  In the Save As dialog box, in the File name box, type a name for the screen shot, and then click Save.

PC FREEZE after taking a SCREENSHOT with Win+Shift+S

We understand your concern as the PC freeze when you try to take a screenshot using Win+Shift+S key.



In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

• What is the make and model of the PC?
  
• What is the make and model of the Graphics card device installed?

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform these steps and check.

1. Press Windows key + X key, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Scroll and expand Display adapters.
   
3. Right click on the listed driver and click on
   Uninstall.
   
4. Now check the box Delete the driver software for this device.
   
5. Click on Uninstall.
   
6. Restart the PC and install the latest driver from manufacturer website.
