Why my PC on windows 10 is picking 169... IP range when connecting using wifi network?


why it is not to 192.168.. range by default ?


What has changed ?

• Have you tried restarting your computer?
• Is the IP address in the 169.x.x.x range?

Your getting a internet connection via wireless and the network card isnt connected or not getting and ip as its gets a 169 ip range that is the message that the 169 isnt recognized you can ignore it or disable the network card when not in use
