Windows 10: Why my Sony SRS - XB13 Bluetooth Speaker is not recognised by my Windows 11 ?

When I click on "add device" , it only appears one device named "unknown device" and it does not connect, it says to try again connecting the device.

Hello, I'm Jan and I'm happy to help you today. Please try each method below to troubleshoot the Bluetooth speaker Sony SRS - XB13 problem.

1. Search "Bluetooth"

Select "Bluetooth and other devices settings"

from the list select your Bluetooth device

Click Remove device

Press Yes.

2. Search Device Manager

Open Device Manager

Click on "View"

Check "Show hidden devices"

Expand Bluetooth

Then right-click on your Bluetooth device

Then uninstall All the drivers related to your Sony Bluetooth speaker

Restart your computer.

Then try to pair again your Bluetooth device.

3. Search Control Panel

Open Control Panel

Click View by: Large Icons

Select Devices and printers

from the list of devices

right-click on your Bluetooth speaker

then select properties

click service tab.

then put a check on all the features under the Bluetooth services.

click apply then ok.

 

My Sony SRS - XB13 Bluetooth Speaker is Connected to my Windows 11 System but no Sound Coming from it

i have a Sony SRS-XB13 Bluetooth Speaker that i want to connect to my PC, although it says it's connected in the bluetooth pannel :-





But nothing is showing up in the sound device selector pannel related to it so, no sound is coming from the Speaker :-





I then looked up in the Advanced Sound Control Pannel and this is what it says:-







I then Clicked Connect for both of them but nothing appears to happen

still, no sound came out of it

the speaker was able to connect with my smarthphone while giving sound output also i observed when it was connected to my smartphone, it gave a consistent blue light indicator but when it was connected to my PC, it gave a blinking blue light indication that means when it's actually ready to give sound output, it shows a consistent blue light in case of my smartphone

I checked for any driver that it reqiures to run on the sony's official website but it is supossed to connect and output sound my itself without any additional drivers/softwares

i looked up for the bluetooth version of the speaker and my bluetooth adapter connected to my PC (via USB) and they weren't matching. The speaker is said to have bluetooth v4.2 and my adapter has Bluetooth v5.0 if that's the case then i have another Bluetooth Speaker (Reconnect TS|BT-M-RP Bluetooth Speaker) that is said to have Bluetooth v4.0. So how does my 2nd bt speaker outputing sound while connected to my PC. How's that even make sence. The adapter (Enter Bluetooth Dongle Bluetooth Version 5.0 Adapter USB 2.0 / 3.0 20m Range and Dual Mode Signal Transistor) is supporting lower version of bluetooth devices than itself So, it should also support my Sony SRS-XB13.

I have made a lot of effort preparing this post so that you can eaisly understand the problem so please respect my effort and try helping me with this problem
