Windows 10: Why my system wont detect Directx 12 and WDDM 2?

My dxdiag shows I have DirectX12 and WDDM 2.5. But it didin't detect by xbox gamebar and WHYNOTWIN11.My processor also shows it supports DX12.Anyone can help?Thanks.

Directx 12 on Windows 10 is gone

Try the following steps and check if it helps:

Step 1:

I suggest you to check the DirectX Version installed on your system.

Follow the below steps to check the DirectX Version:

• Press Windows key + R from the Desktop.
• Type dxdiag and hit Enter.
• Check the DirectX Version.

Step 2:

I suggest you to update the Graphic driver from the Device Manager and check if it works.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows + R on the Keyboard.
• Type in devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
• Select Graphic driver from the list.
• Right click on the Graphic driver and click on Update driver Software.

If the issue persists then install the latest graphic driver from the manufacturer and check if it helps.

WDDM version?

Shader Model 5.1, GCN 1.0 and Fermi+, DirectX 12 (11_0 and 11_1).
Shader Model 6.0, GCN 2.0+ and Maxwell 2+, DirectX 12 (12_0 and 12_1).
Shader Model 6.1, GCN 2.0+ and Maxwell 2+, DirectX 12 (12_0 and 12_1) with WDDM 2.3.

Dxdiag is still showing Directx 11.2 and WDDM 1.3... Where is DirectX 12 & WDDM 2.0?

Windows may be showing DirectX version depending upon the graphic card installed or the processor of your system.

Follow the steps to check which version of directX is installed in your computer.

a) Press Windows + R.

b) Type dxdiag
and click ok.
