    Why New Windows 11 setup copying previous windows folders/apps.


    While setting up new HP Laptop windows 11 Pro it's carrying over folders/apps from my previous windows laptop. There doesn't seem to be an option to NOT use folders/apps from previous PC. I like to install folders/apps on the new laptop as I need them. Is there a way to do this. Thanks for the help.

    thats not what im trying to do. Im just want to copy some files from the apps folder but windows wont let me.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
