Why some devices are ending up in the state "Registration Pending" where the rest of the...

Ref Link : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/entra/entra-id/dir-dmns-obj/pending-devicesWhen the devices are being deployed through Auto Pilot, we have come to see some devices are ending up in the state "Registration Pending". By default we have received the resolution as per the ref link but if there is a clear and straight root cause , kindly share it and it would be really appreciated.I could not share much details as per the restrictions I had within my infrastructure, Just I would like to know some generic ideas so those can be implemented and prevent them from happening aga

    :)

      Troubleshooter.

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the bio-metric finger print reader from Device Manager and check if it helps.

    • Press Windows + X from the keyboard, click on Device Manager.
    • Right click on Bio-metric finger print reader, click on
      Properties
      .
    • Go to Drivers tab, click on Update driver software.

Step 3: I recommend you to install all the pending updates on your device and check if it helps.

    Steps:

    • Connect to the internet.
    • Press Windows key and type updates.
    • Click on Check for updates.
