My Window is 11 home single lanauageSo I went to process explorer, I found some processes .exe were access denied*Both are access denied*One of the svhost.exe is access denied *Smss.exe is access denied*Services.exe is access denied*Wininit.exe is access deniedAlso, some also don't function at all *Registry is not functioning*Memory compression is not functioning*Lsalso.exe has invaliad accessMoreover, am I being monitered by hacker?"laptop-********" are the same. Task Manager gives me an access denied error when I try to set affinity or end a process.

Hello Bingkai. This is Wil an independent advisor. I would love to help you with your concern about the permission issue on Task Manager. I would suggest you give permission to those processes and check if that works.

1. Open Task Manager. Go to the Process Tab.

2. Right-click on the GoogleToolbarNotifier Process and click on Properties.

3. Click on the Security Tab and then click on Edit.

4. On the Permissions, window click on the Add button to open the Select Users Group or Groups window.

5. On the Select Users or Groups window, you can enter the usernames of the accounts you want to apply the restrictions.

6. Select your username and set the permissions to deny/allow by checking the checkbox under the deny/allow option.

7. Click on Apply and then Ok.

Repeat the steps for the other processes which you would like to terminate.

LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied.

I am trying to share a folder on a LAPTOP. I have other a number of other systems that have folders Shared and they work fine, but with this one I get the error "LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied." when I try to access it from a different Win10 system. So I went thru the entire "How to Share Files and Folders Over a Network in Windows 10" tutorial step by step. File and Print Sharing is enabled, SMB1.0 client & server are running, and Everyone has Full Access to the Share. Still get the error. I have tried it with the Network Public and Private, with the same result. Any suggestions ? Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042

 

Unable to terminate process - access is denied

so recently I uninstalled steam for troubleshooting reasons on control panel and when I went back to install it , it said that it is still running so I went into task manager > processes steam client wasn't there then I went to task manager > Details. I
saw steam.exe and right clicked and pressed "end task" and "end process tree" the outcome is ...

"Unable to terminate process - access is denied"

how do I fix this please help!!!!
