Windows 10: Why the daily MSN updates on Madonna? This happened two weeks ago!

How do I block repetitive news from my news feed? Madonna went into the hospital 2 weeks ago and every, single day, there is a new update, only there is nothing new to be reported, only repetitive.

Recently, my MSN homepage in IE 11 version 11.0.25 running Win 10 is showing the below URL as my "homepage".

However, when I click on the upper left corner of the MSN homepage (butterfly msn) I get the below MSN URL:

This didn't happen until a few weeks ago when there was a supposed Windows 10 update via Windows Update. Which of course I downloaded...with very bad results. My DVD recovery cd's didn't work. Luckily, I did have an ISO on a DVD which DID work.

Anybody have information as to the above issues?

 

MSN daily automated mail

Once a day I get this mail message from MSN.






I tried many times to "fix" that account, to no avail; finally, I deleted the account, and still, I get this daily annoyance in my mail.

 

unable to download/launch msn weather since 180s update

MSN Support nor MSN weather is listed in start menu. When I find it in Store it will not launch nor pin to start. It appeared daily before the 1803 update

Using I year old hp desktop, 64 bit, win 10 ver 1803, !E11 & Edge browsers. 1803 Update installed 1 hour ago.
