Windows 10: Why the network usage is incorrectly under win10 when you have a Monitoring filter drivers.

i have a filter drivers which type is monitoring based on NDIS 6.20. it receive the date transferred from remote device. and the device Send 120MB date/second in a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller .


this driver called the NdisFReturnNetBufferLists interface to return the NET_BUFFER(contain all data from device). But when i view the network usage from the task manager, i find that the network usage is 0%（i think it should be 100%）.


but i only change the filter type to modifing, the network usage is 100%.


that why?

What is ANOD Network Security Filter Driver...

I would like to inform that "ANOD Network Security Filter Driver" is not a component of Windows and appears to be installed with some D-Link software and may be used for network management.

I suggest you to download the version of this software from the manufacturer's website and try to install it in compatibility mode on Windows 10 and check if it helps.

You can install Windows 8/8.1 drivers in compatibility mode if there are no Windows 10 compatible drivers.

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode.

• Download the updated driver from the manufacturer’s website.
• Right click the driver installation file and select
  Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.
• Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  
• Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.
• Try installing the driver and check.

network internet data usage
