Windows 10: Why the taskbar just auto-disappears when my cursor is not on it? How can I stop it???

Seriously, this is by far the worst Microsoft idea that I have ever seen. And where is the EXACT option to stop that weird stuff?? I want it on ALL the time! I need to always see the language, opened tasks, etc stuff, not it deciding to disappearing when my cursor is not on it, what the hell????

Arezal, tried your suggestion. Seemed to work when in Firefox open screen, but as soon as I placed the cursor on the minimized Thunderbird icon, the taskbar disappeared and wouldn't reappear with cursor hover???

Recently, the cursor has started disappearing, and I have to move my mouse rapidly in order to bring it back. Upon further investigation, it seems that my cursor moves to the Taskbar when this happens, and when it does, visual feedback does appear on the Taskbar when I move it. I hope this will eventually get resolved, as it is interfering with what I do. Thank you.

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.
