Windows 10: why the weather icon on the left side of the taskbar in Windows 11 is square shaped and not...

I am running Windows 11 Version 21H2 OS Build 22000.526 . I am seeing the weather widget on the left side of the taskbar as square shaped without any temperature screenshot enclosed. How can I see the original round shaped yellow icon showing the temperature in centigrade on the left side of the taskbar. Kindly help.BappaKG

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

How do I move the taskbar icons back to the left?

Hi,

Kindly follow these steps to return the icons on the left side of the Taskbar:

• Right click on the empty Taskbar and uncheck Lock all taskbars.
• Right click again on empty Taskbar and hover the mouse on Toolbar.
• Click New folder.

To address your concern, follow the steps below on how to show hidden icons on the taskbar.

• Open Settings, and click on the Personalization
  icon.
• Click on Taskbar on the left side, and click on the
  Select which icons appear on the taskbar link under the Notification area section on the right.
• Turn on Always show all icons in the notification area at the top
