    Hi, When I go to the "sync and backup Tab" on onedrive, there is no such a option like "save screenshot I capture to onedrive".I was taking screenshot by using this method but recently it stopped. I don't know how. But when I tried to enable this option again but I didn't find any "save screenshot I capture to onedrive" option. What should I do now?

    onedrive screenshot not working. used prtsc to take a onedrive screenshot, but instead the snipping tool opened

    Hi,

    When I go to the "sync and backup Tab" on onedrive, there is no such a option like "save screenshot I capture to onedrive".

    I was taking screenshot by using this method but recently it stopped. I don't know how. But when I tried to enable this option again but I didn't find any "save screenshot I capture to onedrive" option. What should I do now?

    No Location Tab - Screenshots folder

    Hi Rachael

    The first option is to stop OneDrive sending your screenshots to the cloud

    Click the OneDrive icon on your Taskbar, choose Help & Settings - Settings

    On the Backup tab, is 'Automatically save screenshots I capture to OneDrive' ticked, if so, untick that box

    Then, restart your PC, take a screenshot and see where that is saved to, is it still the OneDrive folder, or the Screenshots folder in your pictures library folder?

    I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

    In Windows 11, you can also disable Auto-save to file if you want to in Snipping tool Settings.

    Moreover, To stop saving screenshots to OneDrive automatically on Windows 10/11, you can locate the OneDrive icon in the System Tray, right-click on it and select Settings. Then switch to the Auto save tab (or Sync and backup tab on Windows 11) and uncheck the box ‘Automatically save screenshots I capture to OneDrive‘

    Additionally, You can stop syncing the pictures folder if you like to OD. If you need steps for that, let us know.
