Windows 10: Why UM2 2 channel Audio interface only 1 channel works on Zoom meeting?

Behringer U=Phoria UM2 Audio interface worked first time as a multi channel device for mic & keyboard playing music on Zoom Meeting now only 1 channel mic works. I used another audio interface prior & worked great. I have not changed any Zoom settings.

I cannot set my XLR Microphone as 1 channel in Audio Devices

Hello, i recently got a Marantz MPM-1000 and it is using XLR as a cable. I have an external audio interface connected and 48v phantom power, the microphone is working fine, but when i play back it only outputs to left channel. After a bit of searching
on google i have found that i need to set the device to 1 channel in Audio Devices in windows, but when i go there it only shows 2 channel settings. I have tried to uninstall the audio device drivers, and reinstall. The setting still isn't there.

Hi Monica - thanks so much for responding... we did all of the things that you have listed but to no avail...

And in spite of all this, after 2 shops looking at the computer, with no real answers to the problem, my husband on a hunch brought home 2 new digital speakers and evidently the drivers installed as well and now both channels are working! We are so thankful.

 

Audio channel cutout

Today, I experienced a very bizarre issue.

One of the audio channels cutout on my phone. The right channel to be exact. In addition, I do believe there was immense distortion output through that channel. Prior to the channel cutting out, my right ear started to ache as if I was playing the music
too loudly, which I by no means was not.

Upon powering the phone off and back on, the audio channel resumed functionality. No the headphones weren't partially out. No the headphones aren't damaged. I used my other pair and the result was the same until I restarted the phone.

I do not believe it is a hardware issue, but a driver/bug issue. My phone is in mint condition, and has never been exposed to water, humidity, or drops.

I own a Lumia 1520 with the 8.1 developer preview release.

I sincerely urge any who represent/work for Microsoft to look into this issue as harm could result if indeed distortion/excess amplification of noise is present because of a driver/bug issue.
