  1. Why webview2 manager is consuming too much of CPU

Whenever I use PC Manager to boost RAM or something my cpu consumption goes up to 80% Due to Webview 2 manager. In Webview2 manager there are also eight components which I don't know why I am running. Initially there is no CPU conception but as soon as I press boost, it still goes to 50,60,70 and up to 80%. I have done clean boot safe boot also.before boost after boost

    :)

  3. Microsoft Edge Webview2 hogging 50% to 70% of CPU

    Hello, ColinKin.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community!

I understand that somehow Microsoft Edge Webview2 has appeared on your desktop, and it is causing a high CPU usage for you, in order to help you remove this component, I will provide you with the following options:

    1. Run PowerShell as administrator.
    2. Enter the following command to jump to the Edge WebView2 installation directory:

(Please note that 1* is a wildcard that applies to all version numbers starting with 1. If the version number changes, please modify it accordingly.)
    3. Enter the following command and then Enter to uninstall Edge WebView2:

    4. To prevent Microsoft from automatically reinstalling Edge WebView2, you can set the permissions of the installation directory to read-only:

Please feel free to let me know if you have any problems with the uninstallation process or need further assistance!

    Best Regards.

Why webview2 manager is consuming too much of CPU

Microsoft Edge Webview2 hogging 50% to 70% of CPU

Fortunately on my desktop (somehow) I do not have Microsoft Edge Webview2

On a relatives low spec Lenovo 110 Windows 10 Home - Microsoft Edge Webview2 is constantly hogging 50% to 70% of CPU.

No surprise Programs does not offer an option to remove

I have spent hours trying to find how to minimise this.

Preference would be to disable it or at least minimise its CPU use.

This laptop uses ZERO windows apps or Windows 365 - it is only used for web browsing + MS Word and Excel 2010

    Advice please
