Windows 10: Why when I active Applocker on my Windows 11 and activate the rules my parameters get blocked?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to secure my desktop which is under win11pro 23H2 with secpol.msc .When I juste set my Applocker and create the basics rules then restart, I can't open my parameters. even my windows key doesn't work !!!I've look for "NoControlPanel" rule on regedit and it was set to "0" !?Can someone have any response to that or have the same issue?Ty,

Windows Pro with active AppLocker

After the November Windows update, the AppLocker was activated on the Windows 10 PRO version and all the AppLocker rules from the server were extended to this Windows Pro.

I will add that I also distributed this November update to other Windows 10 pro computers on which AppLocker was also activated.

I ask you to clarify, are you already officially activating the AppLocker for Windows 10 Pro in your updates or was it a bug?

 

Applocker not blocking -- Win10Pro, Applocker configured, AppIDsvc run

• OS: Win10Pro
• Applocker: configured blocking of apps and executables
• Applocker rules: set to enforcing
• Service: AppIDSvc is running

I've been trying to get Edge and a couple other utilities blocked on the laptop to keep distractions to a minimum for my child who uses the computer to study.
However, even after rules are defined, and they are set to enforcing as blocked, the apps and executables are still available to them -- even after a reboot.

However, there is still no blocking of the apps or the executables.

Blocking Edge with AppLocker


Does anyone know how to prevent Edge from running using AppLocker rules?

I've tried various AppLocker rules to block Edge but Edge keeps running.

If you have managed to block Edge using AppLocker, what rules did you create for this block to work?
