Windows 10: Why when i move my hdmi cable, it restarts my pc.

so what ever i bumped my desk, screen either go black or the pc shuts down and turn itself on. also when i shutdown my pc it shuts down but turn itself onalso another question is that why when i play non fps games, it suddenly crashed with a : screen, but fps game doesn't do that. only thing i know is that the cpu temp max was 100 but it didn't shut down my pc.all this happened last weekonly problem i have w my pc is that i only have 8gb of ram 1 ram stick because my other one died like last month

Why exactly is ATi considered be better at HDMI?

I plug my HDMI cable into the card, then into my TV. Those are the steps that I have to do. All the steps you list make absolutely no sense to me.

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g., updates, software installation)?
• Is this the first time you experienced the issue?
• Are you getting any error messages? If yes, What is the exact error message?
• Have you tried using your HDMI to other devices? If yes, what is the result?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

HDMI cable not detected by computer

I want to connect to a monitor or TV with HDMI. No signal to either. Monitor says "no signal coming from your computer".

I have tried with no success:

• HDMI directly into Nvidia 980 HDMI slot
  
• HDMI directly into motherboard slot, Intel i6700k with integrated graphics
  
• HDMI indirectly into HDMI(female)-to-Displayport(male) adapter, into Nvidia 980 Displayport slots
  

I have verified:

• Cable plugged into second computer, connected fine to monitor and TV
  
• Tried different HDMI cable, same results on both computers
  
• Displayport slots on Nvidia 980 work on monitor with DP-mDP cable
  
• Both monitor and TV are 4k. Output is 4k on other computer, and 4k using Displayport on this computer.
  
• Used newest graphics driver for Nvidia 980
  
• Used old graphics driver (2020) for Nvidia 980
  

All cases, other computer connected successfully and this computer received "no signal"

Other than the hardware checks and the driver checks, I am not sure what other steps I should try.

Since it applies to both Nvidia 980 and motherboard, and since Displayport works but HDMI through Displayport doesn't work, I feel like there is some issue in the computer working with HDMI signals.
