Windows 10: why windows 10 22h2 is using lot of bandwidth of data metered

I updated manually to 22h2 by downloading iso fileStill windows is downloading something in the backgroundWindows update keep on failing and keep on downloadingAnd what is that bits services why it is using lot of bandwidthI tried to stop windows update serviceStill something picks up downloadingI hate this behaviourNo wonder people are moving towards appleGive me a solution that makes my windows pro os not download anything from Microsoft servers nor act as server for others to download

Window 10 eating my Wifi bandwidth

Whenever I start my laptop and check 'data usage' after couple of minutes, I found 'system' is using my internet bandwidth in size of hundreds MBs.

I urgently need to get rid of this.

I tried many tricks:

• Set wifi on metered connection
• Disable Windows Update service
• Disable scheduled task regarding Windows 10 update assistance and some others
• Set all background app to OFF.

Still windows 10 constantly eating my bandwidth.

How to stop this unacceptable behaviour?

 

Metered connection on but still eating bandwidth.

Metered Connection is not perfect and what I have found out as a metered connection user myself, sometimes you have to restart your computer after toggling it on in order for it to take effect.

Windows 10 has an option to defer an" Upgrade" in Windows settings. Since you're using data for updates, we suggest that you turn on the
metered connection option on your computer. It is an Internet connection that has a data limit associated with it, Here are the steps on how to do so:

• Click on Start menu, then search and choose settings.
• Hit Network & Internet, then choose Wi-Fi.
• Look for Manage known networks, then select Wi-Fi network.
• Choose Properties, then Set as metered connection.
• Check if the issue persists once done.
