Windows 10: Why windows 10 is generating more heat than Linux?

I've dual booted my laptop with windows 10 pro and kali linux but i found that windows is generating more heat than kali linux and sometimes when i work on windows it shuts down due to overheat but on other side linux is working well no lagging no overheating.


But when i search why windows generating more heat than linux i found inverse people are saying that linux generate more heat than windows but in my case it is inverse

I tried to install AMD GPU drivers but it always shows VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE so i m running laptop on iGPU i know i have to use windows 7 but its outdated and also i use windows 10 for day to day life and for UWP development so cant use windows 7 for UWP development, I tried many things to cool it down physical and software too but nothing works.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
