Windows 10: why windows 10 version is still trying to down load XP servcie pack 3 and even after...

why windows XP SP 3 is required by windows 10? Windows 10 performance not good. It is not updating to 1803 version and second reboot failure at end happens despite using iso disk features,.Almost 2nd day it download forcefully wasting my data too and almost 2 hours installation recovery modes every time >No one is listening in Microsoft

The guys over at Neowin.net have managed to get their hands on the internal schedule for the release of Windows XP Service Pack 3.

• April 14, 2008: Support is available for the release version of Service Pack 3 for Windows XP
• April 21, 2008: Original Equipment Manufacturers, Volume License, Connect, and MSDN and TechNet subscribers
• April 29, 2008: Microsoft Update, Windows Update, Download Center
• June 10, 2008: Automatic Updates

Office XP Service Pack 3 update for Windows 10??

" I have a clean install of Windows 10 and XP Service Pack 3 is trying so much and failing to install that I have also reached my data usage limit . Is this needed and if not , how can I stop this download 50 times in one day.

UPDATE: I know this is old but it does directly relate. Please see my latest post on this in post #7.

My current laptop was purchased new last October, loaded with 8.1. I upgraded to 10 on the first day of its release, and ever since then I've been getting notifications for Office XP Service Pack 3. It has failed each time I try it. Windows suggests doing a web search for "Office XP Service Pack 3 - Error 0x80096004" for possible help, and I do find some results that MIGHT be helpful. But I can't understand why Windows 10 is trying to install an XP update on a machine that has never has XP on it.

Has anyone come across this issue?
