  1. Why Windows 11 Security does not detect a spying software

Recently I was working with Python development. As a hobby project I developed a Python script to snoop on user activity. The script I developed logs the window names that user opens and also take screenshots of user screen after defined intervals. In a layman term, this script works as a Spyware Virus which also email all information collected to its creator after some time. At this point, the script was running in a Python terminal. I then converted this python script into a Windows Executable file. I was hoping that Windows Defender will consider this executable as a Virus and will Quarant

    Spy software

Basically, you CAN'T use this way (traffic analysis) to directly determine which process running in the phone is for spying, but you CAN use this way to detect the existence of any kind of spying software, and learn its behaviour from reviewing its traffic
    pattern.

Why Windows 11 Security does not detect a spying software

    Spy software

Without installing any further software on the phone to detect or monitor this kind of spying software, the most easy way is to use a network sniffer or firewall for watching the traffic from and to the phone. If any suspious traffic could be captured,
especially when the phone is not supposed to communicate with any other parties over the data network, the traffic should be carefully analysed and reviewed to determine any unwanted app is installed and running on the phone.
