    Why windows asking to bit locker recovery key, every time after restart or Shutdown?


    Hi,I bought a Lenovo laptop recently. Processor AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS w/ Radeon 780M Graphics 3.80 GHz Installed RAM 16.0 GB 13.8 GB usable System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Windows 11 home. For the First month, it is working fine. After a month, when I turned on the laptop, it asked me for a BitLocker recovery key. I gave and entered into the home screen. Every time after shutting down or restarting the computer, the recovery key is used repeatedly. Please help with this issue.

    Please provide some additional information, so that we can assist you better.

    1. What is the error message appears when you’re trying to enter a Bit locker key?
    2. What is the version of Windows 10 you have installed?
    3. What is the make and model number of your computer?

    Issues might be happening because of entering Incorrect Bit Locker recovery key. Bit Locker key password will be a 48-digit alpha numeric characters.

    Facing bit locker key problem. Just updated my system and on restart bit locker recovery key screen is coming although I haven't activated bit locker

    Facing bit locker key problem. Just updated my system and on restart bit locker recovery key screen is coming although I haven't activated bit locker so I don't have any key for it. Please suggest solution for this issue how can I get throw this without key or how can I revert this update

    Bit locker recovery usb not asked for at boot up.

    Hi,

    Have Bit locker installed on two separate machines. Removed the usb recovery key the other night and forgot about it not been in. Had to reboot and power down the machine on several occasions. But only realised today that the usb recovery key was not plugged in.

    I then realised after powering down and turn the computer back on that I had not been asked for the Bit locker usb recover key.

    What has changed regarding this as I would like it back that I have to have the Bit locker usb recovery key in the computer at all time. This is something I have noticed before as the Bit locker usb recovery is always installed in he drive.

    Has something changed with Windows 11 Pro regarding this, and how do I get Bit locker to ask for the Recovery key when I power the machine up.
