    Why windows security isn't taking actions.


    Recently, Windows Security detected a threat after I did a full scan. Well it detected 3 threats of the same name. But whenever I put an action on one of them. The option on others goes away. So I can really just put an action on one of those 3 threats. But the problem is, Microsoft security doesn't take any action. I click start actions and then the while menu goes away. It doesn't say that it's clearing it. So I'm worried and I dont know what to do.Also a browser I use, Oper Gx recently took about 2,000 MB of memory. Something is happening to it and I'm worried.

    Printer isn´t working after latest update.

    After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
    3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

    Disable Action Center in Windows 7?

    Unfortunately that doesn't disable Action Center, all it does it cause Acution Center to bitch about the Security Center service not running.

    Action Center seems to be a different beast from Security Center...

    And telling it to not display any messages gets it out of the way, the same way disabling the icon in the suggestions above does, but Action Center is still enabled and running.
