Windows 10: Why windows spotlight is not working on my windows 11 laptop?

When I select the Windows Spotlight option from the lock screen settings and go back and return to the same option again, it automatically switches back to picture mode. This problem occurs every time. It shows a blue background on my lock screen, and I can't change it. The Windows Spotlight is not working on my PC. Please help me to fix this issue. The first image shows what happens if I select the Windows Spotlight option. And the second image shows what happens if I close it and open the lock screen settings again. Yes friend all these steps working for me.check these path , first path for check : C:\Windows\Web\Screen (find the stuck image and rename it) , or second path " C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\SystemData\ " at this path you will se two main folders check all these folder at all and you will find the image there.Rename or delete the image stuck only.After re-register again the spotlight and wait after some restart.Something last i had the same problem and delete the registry folder "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Creative\S-1-5-21-1367095634-179868200-954147944-1001" and do a restart after all these step the spotlight download again new images and start working again.Please make a backup first at register.before delete everything.

 

Spotlight NOT WORKING in Windows 11

okay it seems your Windows 11 doesnot have Windows Spotlight option available in the dropdown list...and this forum is based on those who have spotlight but unable to use..

Also make sure that the account you are using is an administrator account, and windows is not a "N" version, i.e. your windows is not Windows 11 home N. (as far as i know Windows 11 N version does not have spotlight feature)
