Windows 10: Why won't I receive a verification text for my microsoft account when I type the last four...

On my Mini PC NucBox 4 I got a random message that read fTPM/PSP NV corrupted or structure changed. After clicking the Y option Bitlocker I was told I was told that I had to change my pin to login to my device. When attempting to get a new pin I was asked to verify my identity and I chose the text option and entered the last four digits of the phone number attached to my account but never got a code. I tried multiple times but never got a code; this also did not work when I tried to verify my identity from my account itself. I even tried to reset my password where I did receive a verificat

I understand you're not receiving a verification code for your Microsoft account. If your security info's are up to date, you may be experiencing delays receiving the code which I have also experienced before. Add gmail account to outlook without text message verification?

A screenshot might help us identify whether it is MS or gmail that is responsible for this (my guess is gmail). The MS instructions you linked to say that no verification should be required if 2FA (in gmail) is off.

I suggest you turn on 2FA in gmail, and try again.
