Windows 10: why wont my dvd drive a bluray drive work after the last 3 recent updates???????

ive had this bd drive for the past 6 months its worked as well as it can the dvd portion has worked brill no issues then suddenly i update last month and dvds stop reading aswell i have to eject and insert twice,the next update same issue however this update no longer works like at all i have to have another software open to get a read the software is make mkv wich request data of the dvd this makes me belive the issue could be windows just isnt requesting info or a mis match of communication.if someone could get back would be brill.it could be the simple case of not turning my pc off for a

BluRay/DVD drive for laptop

Note that my drive is a DVD/Bluray drive, not a DVD drive. I had a DVD drive before and it worked fine. It's first when I went with a Bluray drive is went wrong. Do you know if your solution takes Bluray into account?

 

Autoplay not working windows 10 (dvd/bluray drive)

I have just recently installed windows 10 on my new computer, but I cannot get autoplay to work with the DVD/Blueray drive. Autoplay works with other media such as USB memory stick but no matter what I try it will not work with the DVD/Bluray drive. Windows
detects the drive in windows explorer ok and I am able to access it from there.

Bluray drive not working after installing Windows 10

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop. A few years ago, I installed Windows 10. One thing I didn't do was to check that all the software and drives were still working. I recently tried to play a Bluray disc in the bluray drive that came standard when I purchased
the laptop. The drive plays regular dvds and cd. It rips cds correctly. It even recognizes the bluray disc and displays the correct title in file explorer. However, it cannot play the bluray dvd.

Is this a drive or driver issue? I would assume it should be a simple fix, as all other functions of the drive are working properly... I just can't get the bluray movie to play.
