Windows 10: Why wont my files show up when I try to customize my lock screen?

Every time I try to add a new file for the slideshow feature, and open up the file, no files show up. I've tried to redownload the files, to change them to a different file format, I've tried Googling the question, but nothing is working. Maybe this question has come up a lot I don't know I'm new to Microsoft and Windows all together an avid Chromebook user here.. so if anyone might know why my files aren't showing u please let me know, I'm starting to feel like I'm going in circles here.

Windows 10 lock screen wont change

Hi guys for some reason when i try to change my lock screen it dost work it gives me error

Also when i try to change it from Personalize lock screen it gives just loading

Here is the solution, but it is imperative to proceed carefully.
There are also a couple of final steps that are missing and I had to think about it.

Retrieve Custom Windows 10 Lock Screen Image - Super User

This must be done as Administrator (True Administrator account) -

You must add "Administrator" to the additional fields not listed to get through the permission issues caused by NTFS.

There's quite a bit going on here, but the important item to understand is that for each "picture" folder, you need to add yourself as Administrator.
Just click on "Select a principal" and enter Administrator as the Object Name for each folder you wish to gain access to.

Lock vs Login screen screenshot

You can use your own image of any background and just go to settings/personalize/lock screen and click on browse as in the image below. It should make whatever picture you use as the Lock Screen
