Windows 10: Why won't my HDD let me change it's drive letter and how do I change what downloads to where.

Hi, I have a question about my pc. It has a 1TB HDD and a 1TB SSD. For some reason, everything at the start downloaded to the HDD which was also automatically labeled "C:". After activating the SSD, everything still downloads to the HDD. I want most of my downloads like games and stuff to go to my SSD, and I'm wondering how to change that. Also, I've seen everywhere that the SSD letter is usually "C:" and the HDD letter is usually "D:" or "E:", however, it is the other way around for me. I tried to change HDD to "D:" but it says that some of the programs rely on the "C:" letter and then when I

Cannot change drive letter

I request you to try the steps below:

• Press "Windows" + "R" on the keyboard.
• Type "diskmgmt.msc" and press Enter key.
• Now right click on the drive and select Change drive letter or path.
• Select the drive and click on Change.
• Now select the drive letter and click on OK.

• Right click on the external drive and click on Change Drive letter and paths.
• Click on Change the button.
• Under Assign the following Drive letter, select the desired drive letter.
