Windows 10: Why won’t my pc let me download any games or update anything

Today when I turned on my pc I tried to get on a game but it needed to update first but it wouldn’t update it would just stay at zero. Then when I tried to download a game file from my browser it still wouldn’t let me. Also when I try to search something on my windows search bar it just stays loading. My pc also seems really slow, I have factory reset my pc not saving a single file cause I have no importance of them and the problem still occurs.

microsoft store games won`t play

when I download a game from the Microsoft store it won`t play

the splash screen appears then goes

I have a core i5 with an nvidivia graphics card I tb hdd and 8 gb ram

I have tried the diagnostic for microsoft store and it say cache may need fixing.

 

pc won`t update

I`ve been trying to solve this problem for 3 months to no avail.

PLEASE HELP!!!

EVERY time the computer check new updates, the following message appears:

We couldn't connect to the update service. We'll try again later, or you can check now. If it still doesn't work, make sure you're connected to the Internet.

My PC is connected to the internet, so this could not be the problem.

you`ve only directed me to a window link, which I don`T really understand.

Could ANYONE PLEASE send me a simple answer how I can solve this problem step by step???????
