Windows 10: Why wont my wifi icon show up, and why cant i use the troubleshooting feature?

I have searched up tons of videos on how to make my wifi show up, but nothing works. It all brings me to device manager and tells me to do things i already did but nothing changes. Please someone help, i have tried for two hours to no luck. Also these videos tell me to troubleshoot something but when i do, it says i need to download something but i have no idea what to do.

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?

Have you installed all pending Windows updates?

Are you logged in using administrator Account?

We suggest you to check if all the pending Windows updates is installed. If not then install all the pending Windows updates and check.

Further try running Windows Network Troubleshooter and check:

Step 1: You may try Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services as a first step to diagnose and repair common Network issues.

To run the trouble shooter follow the steps given below

• 
  Press Windows key+ X key, Select
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshooting, Click
  View All.
  
• 
  Click Network Adaptor and follow the instructions
  

Step 2: Also check if the same issue occurs in different user account. If you do not have another user account then kindly create a new user account and check.

My wifi icon is not showing in desktop tray or listed in network settings

yesterday my wifi was working fine and I had a wifi icon to detect networks. then it stopped working and I can't see a wifi icon. when I go to settings - there is no wifi setting. I've tried rebooting, updating drivers, running troubleshoot. nothing works.
