Windows 10: Why won't projecting from my windows 11 computer work with my amazon fire tv stick?

Everytime I try to project the computer to the amazon fire tv stick it doesn't appear so I can't connect to it. The amazon fire tv stick has no issues, it's on the screen saying Display Monitoring and it's ready to pair, I think it's just my PC. My PC is connected to my Wi-Fi through a Netgear Adapter USB that uses a software to connect to Wi-Fi, but the Wi-Fi Settings on both devices say the internet connection is the same. I've checked and my computer is compatable with Miracast. I don't know why it's not working.
