Windows 10: Why won't some desktop icons display as large?

I have my desktop icons view setting set to large icons but for some reason a few icons don't upsize, they remain the same 'medium' size. Is this a Windows issue or p[roblem with the individiual apps?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to change the screen resolution and check if it helps.

• Right click on Desktop and select “Display Settings”.
• Under Display settings click on “Advanced Display Settings”.
• Under resolution select the resolution as ‘1966*1080’ and save the changes.

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

Method 1:

To change the desktop icons take the steps below:

· Right click on an empty area of the desktop

· Select ‘View’

From here we will have three options:

· Large Icons

· Medium Icons

· Classic Icons

Method 2:

To resize the icons on Windows 10 follow the instructions provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows logo key + I key.
• Click on System.
• In Display tab, increase the percentage or bar under change the size of text, apps and other items.
• Click on Apply button.
