    Why won't Windows 10 allow any other email clients


    This has been asked already and closed, but since my hard drive died and I installed win 10 on a new drive mailto: doesn't work unless microsoft mail is the default mail handler.I DON'T WANT WINDOWS MAIL AS MY MAIL HANDLERI WANT THUNDERBIRD AS MY MAIL HANDLER, JUST AS IT WAS BEFORE THE NEW INSTALLI DON'T WANT MICROSOFT FORCING ME TO USE MAIL.And, please don't reply with the stupid, ignorant, 'go to default settings', or 'go to chrome settings' or 'mailto: has nothing to do with your mail client' replies that were infuriating in the other question,This is either a bug in Windows or microsoft fo

    Excel will not use Thunderbird to email spreadsheet on Windows 10 Pro

    I was trying to keep it simple, she's not the sharpest knife in the drawer but kind natured.
    If i could emulate what I can do thenwhen she gets twined up I can talk her step by step.

    if we can't sort why Win 10 Excel won't see T-B as the main email client then we'll just have to go with your suggestion.

    I should have said Win 10 pro 64 bit?

    Windows 10 forced download

    I actually had a client call yesterday with an email problem. when I tried walking him through some steps, he says "Yeah, I don't see that there, but I think it's because it's updated to windows 10. It did that a few weeks ago. I came back in on Monday, and it said Welcome to Windows 10"..... I think I'd throw the computer out the window.
