Windows 10: Why would a laptop go to sleep despite ALL power settings disabling autosleep?

I checked all advanced settings under power, lid-close etc. Sleep is COMPLETELY disabled in all settings except when you press the "sleep button" (though there isn't one so maybe I should turn that off too).

I checked the event logger, and I found the sleep event trigger.

It says, task category 243, Kernel-power.

"User-mode process attempted to change the system state by calling SetSuspendState of Set SstemPowerState APIs."

All she did was close the screen and walk away. Several minutes later, it goes to sleep.

That said, it shows the bios logo and takes several seconds to get to a login which suggests hibernate rather than sleep anyway.

The system isn't set to hibernate unless the power button is hit. There's no indication that the lid is somehow hitting the power button. What gives?

Lenovo Laptop - Windows 10 - Power and Sleep Settings Not Working

Despite selecting 'Never' for 'When plugged in, turn off after' for both 'Screen' and 'Sleep' within the 'Power and Sleep Settings' window--please see attached screen dump--and my laptop being plugged in, it still goes to sleep / shuts down after a short time of inactivity. Can any suggest why it is doing this and how to fix it?

Refer these steps:

  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

My laptop goes to sleep every few minutes despite the settings I have. I even have it set to not go to sleep when plugged into power and it still does.
