    Why would ALL of my windows and HP operating functions and programs be "Stopped"?


    I'm running Windows 10 on a HP Stream. The computer is stuck on airplane mode, not allowing any access to networking and cannot be turned off for some reason. When I go into the task manager, I found that ALL of my windows and HP services have been stopped and when I try to start any of those processes, I am told that the operation cannot be completed because it has been disabled or has no enabled services associated with it. I am aware that not ALL of these services need to be in start mode but I'm certain that the crucial services should be started. Can anyone tell me why this is happenin

    Programs not working

    In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
    Are you able to follow them?
    In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    Greg, Thanks for the reply. Techwalla link: removed HP update step one; No startup program group step two;No HP listed step three.

    HP Support: No support for my HP laptop driver, same from AMD manufacturer.
