Windows 10: why would my file explorer accidentally go back to previous page

    Page File

    Set minimum and maximum to a constant number as suggested by others, that will help reduce fragmentation on the drive coz of different page file sizing.

    I moved my page file but apparently it's still present on previous dri

    To change that:

    • uncheck the “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives” setting.
    • click on the drive you want to move pagefile.sys to.
    • click on System Managed Size.
    • click Set.
    • click on the drive currently holding pagefile.sys (probably Cwhy would my file explorer accidentally go back to previous page :)
    • click on No paging file.
    • click Set.
    • click on OK.

    File Explorer "Open With" Discrepency
