Windows 10: Why would Office 2007 be hidden on my updated computer, but office 2000 not be hidden on...

Each system has the latest Windows 10 updates. A volunteer claimed that Office 2007 is no longer compatible of which somebody searched in the search bar for Word, and other Office 2007 products, and they were in Program Data as shortcuts, and I was able to open them, but not able to find the location. Office 2000 is clearly earlier. That does not make any sense to me why Windows Update would try to block me from using a newer version of Office, but somebody else's computer would have an earlier version of Office and it was not hidden, and is still accessible after the latest updates? So the update is not compatible with Office 2007, but it is compatible with Office 2000? That does not make sense at all. Why would Microsoft discontinue using 2007, but not 2000? I find this to be really fishy.

Running Office 2000 and Office 2007

Hi.

I am running Windows 8.1. I have installed Microsoft Office 2000 Pro AND MS Office 2007. I do not like the PowerPoint on 2007 and want to use the 2000 version. I know it is on the computer because 2000 appears in the remove programs list, but that is the
only place I can find it. It does not seem to be anywhere in the Programs list, on Drive C or on the Start list. I know it works fine with Windows 8.1 and 10 as I use it on other machines with only Office 2000 installed. So how can I use PP2000. Should I /
Could I perhaps remove just the PowerPoint from the Office 2007 only and use PP2000?

Personnaly, I use Open Office 3. But alot of folks use M$ Office 2007.
