Why would the WIFI on one of our computers suddenly go slow?

We have 3 computers in the house - all windows 10. One of them has on occasion dragged to a halt for speed. I run speed test and get 1-2 instead of 30-40. The strangest thing is, support assist doesn't find anything to update or tune. Restarting doesn't fix it, but after a few restarts the problem has magically gone away so I can no longer dig to find out what is wrong... Its currently better and we are waiting for the next time it dies. When it was slow I ran a wifi measure app on my phone to verify that the signal was superb at that location. I'm hoping you all have some more suggestions as I'm out of ideas.

    :)

Win10 computer suddenly unable to access printer on home wifi

For some reason, the printer lasted less than 24 hours printing correctly, and now I again can't fix it, even by doing what "worked" before (Comment #6 upthread).

    Regarding the static IP suggestion:
    1. The printer is connected via USB to a Windows 7 computer on the home network. It's not on the network by IP address. Here is a screenshot of the printer port properties.

    2. Although there ARE "headaches" as is said above, the vast majority of the other computers on the home wifi network, NEVER have had a problem printing to it. And this applies to computers that have run XP, Win7, Win10, and MacOS. For the most part until now, it's included the particular Win10 computer in question.
    3. If I still might be able to give it a static IP address, will this affect the other computers that have been able to print to it fine using printer name?

Why would the WIFI on one of our computers suddenly go slow?

One device much slower than others on home wifi - why?

I spoke with the shop once I could be in front of the computer. Yes. They too were puzzled.

    What they think is that:
    1. They must have goofed up the parts list for it
    2. So the Dell 1397 is the adapter I have
    3. And the "radio" must be getting weak or intermittent

Even though I have no Intel 7260 showing in Device Manager:

I went to the Intel site and downloaded the drivers for the 7260. Ran the exe, it ran fine, no errors, told me to restart so changes would take hold - but when I got back, there still wasn't a 7260 listed.

At that point I called the shop again and they said that it's "not uncommon" for an Intel driver install exe to just run, even if its target hardware isn't present. Sounds goofy to me, but okay.

I don't know how useful this is, but here's the ipconfig /all listing, for the wireless on my computer:

I read the guy at the shop the list of network adapters in device manager, and he agreed that none other than the 1397 were wireless adapters.

So - unless a miracle can happen and someone can show me where this alleged 7260 is - I'm going to wait for the shop to help me, or, maybe, if it's not too hard - this is an all-in-one PC and opening up even a big box scares me - put a new card in myself.
