Windows 10: Why's my brightness level and power plan setting keep changing by itself?

My laptop is MSI GF75 Thin 10SDRi7 10750H 2.6 GHzGTX 1660 Ti 6 GB VRAM16 GB Dual Channel RAMWindows 10 Home Single Language Version 20H2 OS Build 19042.985First of all, I apologize for my poor English skill, it's not my native language and learns it by self-taught so I hope you can understand enough about what I'm saying.Why's my brightness keep changing by itself? I've set it to the 50% but later than when I'm using or playing it change to 100%, the changes never go to lower percentages always to 100%.Also, why's my power plan setting for the "Turn off the display" when "Plugged in" always ba

Permanently set specific brightness percentage for power plan

Here is how to set screen brightness by percentage :

1. Open Power Options, and click on Change plan settings for your current power plan.
   
2. Click on Change advanced power settings
   
3. In your current active power plan's (ex: High Performance) advanced settings, expand Display and Display brightness
   
4. Change the brightness percentage to the level you want, and click on OK.
   

 

Power plan?

Upon checking, it seems that there's nothing wrong with your system. It is usual that you have to double-click your mouse before your monitor wakes up.

For the meantime, we suggest changing the power plan by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + S.
• Type in Power Settings.
• On the pop-up window, choose Additional power settings.
• Select High performance.

After changing the power plan, we suggest that you monitor the changes made and check if that will work for you.

Brightness keeps changing automatically. Adaptive brightness option is not there in the display options

My display brightness keeps changing every time i switch between different apps. I've been having this issue for a long time.

I'm using HP Omen Laptop. Windows 10.

I saw another thread with the same issue but was unable to reply in it.

I followed the steps that said the following:

*As an initial recommendation, I suggest you to follow the below steps to disable the adaptive or auto brightness for the selected power plan (if you already have a Power Plan created in Windows)

• Open Control Panel and click on Power Options.
• Open your active power plan, you’ll see Change plan settings option. Click Change plan settings next to your current power plan to open Edit Plan Settings window.
• Click Change advanced power settings option. This will open Power Options dialog.
• Expand Display and then expand Enable adaptive brightness. Change it to Off*

But the problem i the option "Enable adaptive brightness" is not even there.





So What do i do now?
