Windows 10: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth driver issue

I bought this PC in the United States in 2022. Unable to access Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as there are no drivers in Device Manager on Windows 10

I understand your concern that you are unable to access Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as there are no drivers under Device Manager after upgrading to Windows 10.

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated drivers after upgrading to Windows 10.



Try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.



Step 1: I suggest you to run
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

Steps:

• 
  Press Windows
  key from the keyboard, type Troubleshooting and select it.
  
• 
  Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
  
• 
  Select the Hardware and Device
  options from the list.
  
• 
  Click Next to run the
  Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.
  
  
  

Step 2: I suggest you to install the latest drivers and updates for your device after upgrading to Windows 10.

This will help you to find the drivers for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and may help in installing the drivers.

Steps:

1. Connect to the internet (Wired internet connection).

2. Press
Windows key and type updates.

3. Click on
Check for updates.

4. Under
Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.

5. Try to install the updates being shown.

AirPods Disconnecting WI-FI on Windows 10

Both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices operate on the 2.4GHz frequency and can sometimes interfere with each other.

Here are a few steps you can try to fix the problem:

1. Update Drivers:
   
   • Ensure that your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website or use the Windows Device Manager to update your drivers.
     
2. Change Wi-Fi Band:
   
   • If your router supports it, switch your Wi-Fi connection to the 5GHz band instead of 2.4GHz. This can reduce interference since Bluetooth uses the 2.4GHz frequency.
     
3. Disable Bluetooth Collaboration:
   
   • Some network adapters have a setting that helps with the coexistence of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Go to Device Manager, find your Wi-Fi adapter under the Network adapters section, and open Properties. Under the Advanced tab, look for 'Bluetooth Collaboration' or a similar setting and disable it.
     
4. Adjust Bluetooth Power Settings:
   
   • In Device Manager, under the Bluetooth adapter’s properties, in the Power Management tab, uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
     
5. Change Wi-Fi Adapter Settings:
   
   • Similarly, in the Wi-Fi adapter’s properties under the Advanced tab, you might find settings that can be adjusted to improve coexistence with Bluetooth devices, like changing the "Wireless Mode" to a setting that might be more compatible with Bluetooth enabled.
     
6. Check for System Updates:
   
   • Make sure your Windows 10 is up to date with the latest patches and updates as they can contain fixes for such issues.
     
7. Troubleshoot Hardware:
   
   • Try connecting your AirPods to another laptop to see if the problem persists. If it does, the issue may be with the AirPods themselves. Conversely, try connecting a different Bluetooth device to your laptop to see if it causes the same problem.
     

If none of these solutions work, it could be a deeper issue with the laptop's hardware or a unique compatibility issue between your specific model of AirPods and laptop. In such cases, you may need to contact the laptop's manufacturer or consider using a USB Bluetooth dongle as an alternative to the built-in Bluetooth adapter, which may help avoid the interference issue.

Wi - Fi issue with Win 10

When I right click on net adapter no Wi-Fi update driver appears ,What's with that ??

The first one tells me everything is fine
