Hello, I am having an issue with my Laptop Wi-Fi card Asus TUF 15, MediaTek MT7921, it constantly disconnects and it is impossible to make it appear again, my easiest fix is to put the laptop to sleep and it starts working again, but the problem reappears after some minutes, this problem happens even if I have the charger plugged in, what I tried so far:- Uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers from device manager.- Modifying the entire settings about power management to avoid Windows or Asus to disable it while in use.- Restoring the BIOS to default settings.- I am using my phone as a hot

  2. Wrong wi-fi icon?

I have my 'old' Black Panther system now connected by a wi-fi dongle.

There isn't a networking problem here, because the pc gets online with no problem.

However the bottom-right icon (near the clock) shows the symbol for not connected - 5 empty bars and a red cross over them.
Mousing over the icon it says 'network - internet access' *Confused Wi-Fi constantly disconnecting and not showing the icon to access the networks. And there is internet.

Why isn't the correct icon showing up? *Wtf :wtf:

  3. Wrong wi-fi icon?

what if you try a simple disabling of the wifi network connection then enable it again and see if the icons change? It shows the Broadband connection as disabled anyways, so I cant think that would effect the icon status of the enabled wi-fi.

Laptop won't show list of available networks

We suggest checking the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your laptop.

    Please follow these steps:

    • Click the Windows logo.
    • Go to Settings (gear icon).
    • Select Network and Internet.
    • Then Wi-Fi.
    • Make sure the Wi-Fi radio button is On.
    • Select Show available networks, then you'll be able to see the list of available Wi-Fi networks.

Update us with the outcome so we provide further assistance.
