    Hello, I am having an issue with my laptop's Wi-Fi not turning on, on Windows 10. The laptop in question is a Lenovo Yoga 300-11IBR. I tried to install Windows 8.1 on a separate partition, but even before getting into the installer, it did a blue screen. After that, when I booted into Windows 10, it had to check the disk. I try installing 8.1 the second time and Wi-Fi stops working. The Wi-Fi drivers are up to date. I have run the troubleshooter, but it doesn't detect any issues.Thanks in advance.

    Yesterday I installed WP 8.1 (Nokia Lumia 625). After updating my wi-fi doesn´t work anymore. The phone finds networks, but can´t connect. Where is the problem?

    USB Wi-Fi Adapter Disabling

    Is it on Windows 8's compatibility list (check MS website- forgot link)?

    I had an issue with one Wi-fi adapter and it wasn't listed as compatible- All was well when I swapped it out with one on the compatibility list

    I suggest you to run the below troubleshooter and check.

    Run the build-in network troubleshooter

    Follow the steps:


    • Type Troubleshooting in the Search box from the desktop.

    • Select the Troubleshooting option.

    • Select View All option and select the Network Adapter.

    • Click on Next to perform the Network Adapter troubleshooter and follow the steps.
    Note:

    Airplane mode is a setting that gives you a quick way to turn off all wireless communication that are already enabled on your PC. Once you turn on Airplane mode, you can turn an individual Wi-Fi connection ON even in Airplane mode. This disable all other
    connection except the enabled Wi-Fi connection. This is not a bug/problem as this was also available in Windows 8.1. I suggest you to refer
